1. Who we are

1.1 VetDojo is an online veterinary continuing-education platform operated by Charles Kuntz Veterinary Consulting Pty Ltd (ABN 86 657 032 025, ACN 657 032 025) of 252 Wickham Rd, Highett VIC 3186, Australia ("VetDojo", "we", "us", "our"). When these Terms refer to VetDojo, they mean Charles Kuntz Veterinary Consulting Pty Ltd.

1.2 You can contact Charles Kuntz Veterinary Consulting Pty Ltd at:
  • Email: charles@vetdojo.com (general enquiries) or admin@vetdojo.com (account and technical support)
  • Phone: +61 403 351 122
  • Post: 252 Wickham Rd, Highett VIC 3186, Australia

1.3 These Terms apply to your use of the VetDojo website at www.vetdojo.com, including its former address vetdojo.learnworlds.com (the "Site"), and to any course, subscription or other content you buy or access through it.

2. Agreeing to these Terms

2.1 By creating an account, buying a course or subscription, or using the Site, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy and our Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2.2 We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version applies from the date it is published on the Site. If a change materially affects a subscription you have already paid for, we will tell you by email before it takes effect.

3. Who can use VetDojo

3.1 Our courses are designed for veterinarians, veterinary students and veterinary professionals. They are educational resources only. They do not replace your own clinical judgement, your professional obligations, or the standards set by your registering body.

3.2 You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or make a purchase.

3.3 You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. Tell us promptly at admin@vetdojo.com if you think your account has been used without your permission.

4. What we sell

4.1 Individual courses. Single online courses, sold for a one-time price shown on each course page. A purchase gives you access to that course for as long as it remains available on the Site, unless the course page states a different access period.

4.2 VetDojo All Access Pass. A subscription giving access to every VetDojo course in the subscription, including courses added during your subscription period. It is billed at US$350 per year and renews automatically each year until cancelled (see clause 6).

4.3 Free content. Some courses, previews and quizzes are free. We may change or withdraw free content at any time.

4.4 Prices and currency. All prices are in United States dollars (USD) unless a page clearly states otherwise. Your bank or card issuer may charge currency conversion or international transaction fees. Those fees are set by them, not by us.

4.5 Tax. Prices are shown as displayed at checkout.

5. Payment

5.1 Payments are processed by Stripe, a third-party payment provider. We do not see or store your full card details.

5.2 By placing an order you authorise us, through Stripe, to charge your chosen payment method the amount shown at checkout. For the All Access Pass, this includes each renewal described in clause 6.

5.3 Coupons and offer codes are valid only as stated when issued. They cannot be exchanged for cash.

6. All Access Pass: free trial, renewal and cancellation

6.1 1-day free trial. The All Access Pass currently starts with a 1-day free trial. At checkout you pay $0 and give a payment method. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, you will be charged US$350 when the trial ends (about 24 hours after sign-up), and every 12 months after that until you cancel. The checkout page shows the date of your first payment.

6.2 Automatic renewal. Your subscription renews automatically every 12 months at the price current at renewal. We will email you before any price change takes effect.

6.3 Cancelling. You can cancel at any time by emailing admin@vetdojo.com. Cancellation stops future renewals. You keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for. Cancelling during the free trial means you will not be charged.

6.4 Nothing in this clause limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (see clause 8).

7. Refunds

7.1 Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law (clause 8) apply regardless of anything in this clause.

7.2 Discretionary refund of up to US$250. In addition to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, we may, at our discretion, refund up to US$250 of the amount you paid for a course or subscription, where all of the following apply:
  • (a) you request the refund within 30 days of the purchase date;
  • (b) you have not completed, or substantially completed, the course or courses concerned. As a guide, this means you have viewed less than 25% of the lessons and have not downloaded the course's checklists or other downloadable resources, and no certificate of completion has been issued to you;
  • (c) you have not previously received a refund under this clause 7.2 for the same course or subscription; and
  • (d) there is no evidence of misuse of your account, such as shared logins or redistributed content.

7.3 Upgrading to the All Access Pass. If you bought an individual course within the 6 months before you subscribe to the All Access Pass, we may refund up to US$250 of what you paid for individual courses in that period, to recognise your upgrade.

7.4 How to request a refund under clause 7.2 or 7.3. Email charles@vetdojo.com with your name, the email address on your account, the course or subscription concerned, and your purchase date. We will respond within 10 business days. Approved refunds are paid to the original payment method through Stripe, generally within 5–10 business days of approval, and the related course access is removed.

7.5 Your statutory rights are not affected. Clauses 7.2 to 7.4 are a voluntary goodwill policy. They are in addition to, and do not replace, limit or exclude, your rights under the Australian Consumer Law described in clause 8. If a course or subscription fails to meet a consumer guarantee, you are entitled to the remedies set out in clause 8, whether or not the conditions in clause 7.2 are met, and any refund or compensation owed under the ACL is not capped at US$250.

8. Your rights under the Australian Consumer Law

8.1 Our goods and services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 to the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) ("ACL").

8.2 For services:
  • Major failure: you are entitled to cancel your service contract with us, and to a refund for the unused portion or compensation for its reduced value.
  • Other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage: you are also entitled to compensation for it.
  • Not a major failure: you are entitled to have the problems with the service fixed in a reasonable time. If that is not done, you can cancel your contract and get a refund for the unused portion.

8.3 Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy, or any guarantee, warranty or other term or condition, implied or imposed by the ACL or any other law that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

9. Using the courses and content

9.1 All course content is owned by, or licensed to, Charles Kuntz Veterinary Consulting Pty Ltd and is protected by Australian and international copyright and intellectual property laws. That includes videos, text, images, checklists, quizzes, PDFs and templates.

9.2 When you buy or subscribe, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to view and use the content for your own professional education.

9.3 You must not:
  • (a) share your login or let anyone else use your account;
  • (b) copy, download (except where a download is expressly offered), record, redistribute, resell, publish or publicly display course content;
  • (c) remove copyright or attribution notices;
  • (d) use the content to create a competing course or product; or
  • (e) attempt to bypass any technical protection on the Site.

9.4 Copyright notice: © Charles Kuntz Veterinary Consulting Pty Ltd. All rights reserved.

9.5 Downloadable resources such as checklists, discharge sheets and consent-form templates may be adapted for use within your own clinical practice. They may not be resold or republished.

9.6 Some courses link to or reproduce third-party material, such as published journal articles. That material remains the property of its owners and is provided for educational reference only.

10. Clinical content disclaimer

10.1 Course content reflects the instructor's professional experience and published evidence at the time it was prepared. Veterinary practice evolves. You are responsible for:
  • applying your own clinical judgement;
  • working within your scope of practice and competence; and
  • following the laws, codes and standards that apply where you practise.

10.2 Completing a course does not by itself qualify or authorise you to perform any procedure.

11. Availability of the Site

11.1 The Site is hosted on LearnWorlds, a third-party online course platform. We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. It may be unavailable during maintenance or because of problems outside our control.

11.2 We may update, reorganise or retire course content. If a course you bought is withdrawn, we will give you reasonable notice and, where required by the ACL or otherwise fair, an alternative or a refund.

12. Limitation of liability

12.1 Subject to clause 8 and to the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the Site or course content. This includes loss of profit, revenue, data or opportunity.

12.2 Subject to clause 8, where our liability for failing to comply with a consumer guarantee can lawfully be limited, it is limited, at our option, to:
  • supplying the services again; or
  • paying the cost of having them supplied again.

12.3 Nothing in this clause limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited, including under the ACL.

13. Suspending or closing accounts

13.1 We may suspend or close an account that breaches these Terms, for example by sharing logins or redistributing content. Where the breach is minor and capable of remedy, we will first give notice and a reasonable opportunity to fix it.

13.2 You can close your account at any time by emailing admin@vetdojo.com. Closing your account does not by itself cancel an active subscription; please cancel it as described in clause 6.3.

14. Communications

14.1 We will send you transactional emails about your account, purchases and subscription.

14.2 We will only send you marketing emails if you opt in, for example by ticking the box at sign-up. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, in line with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth).

15. Privacy

15.1 How we collect, use and protect your personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy at www.vetdojo.com/privacy.

16. Complaints and disputes

16.1 If you have a problem, please contact us first at charles@vetdojo.com. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 business days and aim to resolve it within 30 days.

16.2 If we cannot resolve it, you may contact Consumer Affairs Victoria (consumer.vic.gov.au) or pursue any other remedy available to you by law.

17. Governing law

17.1 These Terms are an agreement between you and Charles Kuntz Veterinary Consulting Pty Ltd, and are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You and we submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria and the courts that may hear appeals from them.

17.2 If you are a consumer living outside Australia, you may also have rights under the laws of your own country that cannot be excluded.

18. General

18.1 If any part of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the rest continues to apply.

18.2 If we do not enforce a right under these Terms straight away, that does not mean we have waived it.

18.3 These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy, are the entire agreement between you and Charles Kuntz Veterinary Consulting Pty Ltd about the Site.
